Maintenance Matters of Semi Trailer

First, the tire inspection Check the tire pressure at room temperature every month. If it is lower than the normal standard, it should be replenished in time. The air pressure should not be too high or too low, otherwise it will affect the driving safety. Check the cracking of tires, and replace tires in time if there are potential safety hazards. When selecting tires, the models should be consistent.

Second, the battery maintenance inspection. Check whether the battery is firmly fixed, and the electrolyte should be between the upper limit and the lower limit. When approaching the offline, the electrolyte or distilled water should be added to the high level line in time. Keep the positive and negative cables of the battery in good contact, and keep the battery clean and dry. For vehicles that have been placed for a long time, the positive and negative cables of the battery should be removed, and the engine should be re-wired after about half a month to start for about 20 minutes. If the power is obviously insufficient, it should be charged in time. Third, check the liquid level of clutch master cylinder. If the clutch liquid level is between high and low, it is normal; if it is lower than the standard line, it may be that the cup of the master cylinder or the slave cylinder is damaged. When the engine is running, it will be difficult or impossible to shift gears. Please go to the nearest maintenance station for repair immediately. Fourth, check the brake fluid level. It is normal to brake between high and low positions. If the brake fluid is close to or lower than the lower limit, it means that there may be leakage in the system or excessive wear of brake shoes, so you should go to the maintenance station for maintenance in time. When adding brake fluid, pay attention to adding the same type of brake fluid to prevent damage to the cup, and protect the paint to prevent corrosion of the paint surface. Fifth, check the engine coolant level. Never open the radiator cap when the engine is hot, otherwise it may be scalded by spilled coolant or high temperature steam. After the engine cools down, check that the liquid level of coolant should be between full level and low level; otherwise, distilled water or purified water or frozen liquid should be added, and the liquid level height after adding water should not exceed full level. If it is found that the cooling fluid decreases rapidly in a short time, check the cooling system for leakage or go to the maintenance station for inspection.
