Operating Procedures for Dump Truck

One、 Pre trip inspection

1. Check whether the vehicle lifting alarm and indicator light in the cab of the automatic dump truck are effective, and all working positions of the lifting joystick shall be accurate and reliable.

2. Check that the pipelines and joints of the hydraulic working system of the automatic dump truck are firm without leakage, the oil circuit is unblocked, the operation is free, and there shall be no jamming.

3. Check whether the automatic locking and opening mechanism of the dump truck is flexible and effective, and keep the technical conditions of other parts of the vehicle in good condition.

Two、 Dump truck driving

1. The driver of the automatic dump truck in the plant must strictly abide by the road traffic management regulations, the traffic safety management standard in the plant and the "safety production code" during driving.

2. Before starting the vehicle, observe the surrounding conditions of the vehicle. After confirming that it is safe and correct, (the air brake vehicle shall whistle and start until the reading of the air pressure gauge reaches the specified value). After starting, accelerate slowly and quickly according to the operation essentials.

3. When using the automatic dump truck to transport goods, it shall be loaded evenly according to the specified tonnage, and it is strictly prohibited to exceed the height, overweight and partial load. When loading large and heavy goods, the goods shall not be stuck on the railings of the carriage.

4. The automatic dump truck is suitable for loading loose deposits. When loading blocks, measures shall be taken to avoid deformation of carriage and damage of locking mechanism during unloading. It is strictly prohibited to carry inflammables and explosives..

5. No one is allowed to ride in the car of the automatic dump truck, on the platform outside the driver's cab, on the foot pedal, etc., but 1 ~ 4 loading and unloading personnel can be attached if an effective locking device is installed.

6. Before unloading, the automatic dumper shall carefully observe whether there are wires or other obstacles above the vehicle, and can only be unloaded when there are no people nearby. Special personnel shall be assigned to supervise the operation under special circumstances and keep a sufficient safe distance from the wires or obstacles above.

7. When loading from the excavator to the automatic dump truck, no one is allowed to sit in the cab.

8. The lock pin shall be pulled out before lifting the carriage of the automatic dump truck.

9. The lifting operation of the automatic dump truck shall be stable. It is not allowed to step on the accelerator violently. It is forbidden to drive in the lifting state (except in the lifting and loading process).

10. It is not allowed to eliminate the failure of the opening mechanism of the carriage under the lifting state of the carriage. If it must be repaired, support the carriage with a brace to prevent sudden falling.

11. When unloading, the automatic dump truck shall select a flat site and unload to the pit. When unloading in the ditch, it shall keep a corresponding safe distance from the edge of the pit and ditch, and set retaining piers to prevent rollover. When unloading in particularly dangerous sections (high slope edge, etc.), special personnel shall be assigned to command and be responsible for safety supervision.

12. The falling operation of the carriage of the automatic dump truck shall be stable, and it is not allowed to fall while walking. After dumping, lock the dumping door firmly and put the control lever in the neutral position.

Three、 Maintenance of dump truck after collection

1. When overhauling the automatic dump truck, put the shift lever in the neutral position and take safety protection measures such as braking and wheel masking. For example, effective support and other safety protection measures must be taken during the maintenance of the carriage under the lifting state of the carriage.

2. After the engine of the dump truck is off, check the ammeter for leakage. At the same time, check the car lifting alarm and indicator light in the cab, which must be complete and effective.

3. Clean the whole vehicle, check the screw locking of each part, and check the tires and steel rings, leaf springs, lifting lugs, riding bolts, etc.

4. Check and supplement lubricating oil, fuel oil and hydraulic oil, and check whether there is leakage at each pipeline joint.
